Just a lil update

I had a check up appointment Friday the 9th with Dr. Lloyd. Mini Coopers heartbeat was 155 bpm. It still amazes me that is inside me. Its so cool to hear. The appointments will now be quick ones. I asked the nurse if we get to see it on the screen, and she said that I'm too far along now that the ultrasound machine won't detect anything. The baby is too big for the screen. Makes me sad. I wanna see it! In order to see our lil baby, we have to schedule an ultrasound with the department that does that. Robert and I can't wait (along with everyone else) for Dec. 29th! Not only will we get to see our lil one on the screen, we will get to see if we are having a lil champ or a lil princess.  I say this because the first ultrasound I had, I sent Robert the picture to his phone and he responded, "Looks Like A Champ". I responded with, "Or a Princess". LOL  You couldn't even tell it was a baby! So, at this last appointment, the nurse said she thinks I'm having a boy, my grandma thinks so too, and my friend Jen G. says boy too (and she's never wrong). haha Robert and I are just so dang excited and we are so blessed to have this lil one come into our life, we will be thrilled with whatever it may be. I still don't feel like I'm pregnant. Although, last night was strange.  It felt like the baby was growing! I could barely get out of the couch and I couldn't bend over. It was so weird. I feel normal today, thank goodness. I haven't had any weird cravings, yet. My appetite has increased, though. I feel like I don't get full.
After the doctor appointment, Mom and I met Rae for a quick lunch. I didn't get to eat what I ordered because it tasted horrible! I was looking forward to the shrimp and artichoke pasta. The taste was unbareable. Mom and I were going out of town for the night so she said she would take me through the drive thru so I could eat something.
Mom got free tickets to see Kenny Rogers and Billy Dean at the L'Auberge Casino in Lake Charles so I went along. It was Kenny's 30th year to do a Christmas show.  I love Christmas music so that was my favorite part. Mom and I met the lady sitting next to us and found out that the kids from the school she teaches at will be perfroming with Kenny and Billy. She said the kids had to audition and she got to help pick the ones.  During the show I noticed she was trying to take pictures with her Iphone and the pictures were not coming out so good. Luckily I had my camera with the good zoom and took some shots for her and got her email to send to her. She was so happy about that. I captured some video too. I was surprised that they let us take pictures because I saw Ron White there and we weren't allowed to take pictures for that show. Perhaps Kenny and Billy are nicer than Ron? :-)
I kept saving this blog intending to send it sooner. Better late than never.
15 days until we get to see what our Mini Cooper is!
